Is this part of the NDSS Diabetes in Schools program?
This program doe not replace NDSS Level 2 training.
No this is not. The Diabetes Day for Educators is the revival of our previous program Diabetes At Schools. We have received many requests from the Victorian educator community to revive this program as they wanted an in-person program for support and to ask questions.
The Diabetes Day for Educators, is a one-day in-person program dedicated to supporting all organisations that work with children living with diabetes. Being an in-person program means you have your questions answered on the day by paediatric diabetes specialists, diabetes nurse educators and dietitians.
