FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus Launches in Australia with AID Integration
The FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus system is heralded as the world’s smallest CGM sensor.
It will soon be available through the NDSS CGM Subsidy Scheme for eligible users of the mylife Loop automated insulin delivery (AID) system.
The rollout will allow an even more seamless Automated insulin Delivery (AID) experience for people using the mylife YpsoPump paired with the mylife CamAPS FX app.
Eligibility criteria will apply.

- Real-time information and alerts on your phone if glucose levels are quickly rising or falling.
- Routine sensor changes every 15 days.
Pairing the devices
Why pair FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus with the mylife Loop system?
The world’s smallest CGM sensor*
Designed for comfort and discretion, Libre 3 Plus offers an exceptionally low-profile sensor, measuring just 21 mm in diameter and 2.9 mm in thickness, meaning that it is virtually unnoticeable.
Extended 15-day wear time
Designed to be worn longer, the Libre 3 sensor will require fewer changes, meaning less disruption, and improved continuity of data which is ideal for busy lifestyles and reducing burden on people living with diabetes and clinicians.
Improved accuracy
Libre 3 Plus provides reliable glucose data that supports confident treatment decisions and optimised AID performance. The Mean Absolute Relative Difference (MARD) for the Libre 3 Plus is 7.9% compared to the MARD of the Libre 2 of 8.2%.
In a clinical trial, 99.9% of readings were within the acceptable zones on a consensus error grid. This means the Libre 3 Plus is even more accurate and reliable than the Libre 2.
Minute-by-minute glucose readings
As the only CGM brand that measures glucose every single minute, Libre 3 Plus delivers highly detailed data to support smoother insulin adjustments through the mylife Loop algorithm.
Free from common allergens and irritants
Libre 3 Plus is free from IBOA and MBPA, two common adhesive allergens that can cause skin reactions. This makes it a suitable option for people with known sensitivities.
A fully integrated 15-day AID experience
Pairing the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor with the mylife CamAPS FX app creates one streamlined, intelligent system:
- Continuous minute-by-minute glucose readings flow automatically from the sensor to the app.
- The mylife CamAPS FX algorithm uses these readings to make real-time insulin adjustments.
- Insulin delivery is automated through the mylife YpsoPump to help reduce both high and low glucose levels.
The result? A simplified, more stable and personalised AID experience for people living with diabetes.
